Republican Presidential candidate, John McCain saying today on his stump - "Fundamentals of Economy is still strong" And I wonder who is he referring to as "we" when he says 'we will not let this happen again'.. when economy by every single measure has gone down the drain during his own party's watch in last 8 years.. Is he saying.. 'we messed up, but .. but we won't mess it up again?" Beats me brother... This is exactly what the then President Herbert Hoover said during 30s and was charged with not acting fast enough during the initial dark days of the financial turbulence which ultimately led to the great depression.
